A few settings shape how sales and inventory behave across the app. You only need to set these once, and you can revisit them at any time.
- 1Open Settings → System Settings.
- 2Enable Charge VAT if your sales are taxable, and set your tax rate (for example 7.5%).
- 3Set your expiry alert threshold (for example 30 days) to control when expiry warnings appear.
- 4Save your changes.
When VAT is enabled, tax is calculated automatically at checkout and shown as a separate line on the receipt.
