1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using this pharmacy management system and e-commerce platform ("Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. In addition, when using these particular services, you shall be subject to any posted guidelines or rules applicable to such services.
2. Use of Services
- You must be at least 18 years of age to use this Service.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password.
- You agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account or password.
- We reserve the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, or cancel orders at our sole discretion.
3. Prescription Policy
Valid prescriptions from licensed healthcare providers are required for all prescription medications.
- We may verify prescriptions with the issuing prescriber where appropriate, and dispensing is subject to pharmacist review.
- We reserve the right to refuse any prescription that appears altered, forged, or clinically inappropriate.
- Consultation with our pharmacists does not replace your relationship with your primary care physician.
4. Regulatory Record-Keeping & Compliance Tools
The Service provides record-keeping tools designed to support pharmacies in meeting their obligations under the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN) regulations, the Pharmacy (E-Pharmacy) guidelines, and NAFDAC requirements. These tools include a tamper-evident Controlled Drug Register, dispensing and prescription records, batch and expiry traceability, an audit trail of user actions, and pharmacist licence records.
- These features are compliance-support tools only. The Service does not constitute regulatory certification, accreditation, or endorsement by PCN, NAFDAC, or any government authority, and no official integration with such authorities is implied.
- Responsibility for regulatory compliance rests at all times with the licensed pharmacy and its superintendent pharmacist, including the accuracy of records entered, the lawful dispensing of prescription-only and controlled medicines, and the maintenance of valid premises and practitioner licences.
- You are responsible for ensuring that information you enter (including PCN, NAFDAC and prescriber licence details) is accurate, current, and retained for the periods required by applicable law.
- We may add, modify, or update compliance features over time. Continued use of the Service does not guarantee compliance with any specific regulation, which remains your responsibility to verify.
5. Returns and Refunds
Due to safety regulations, prescription medications cannot be returned once they have left the pharmacy. For over-the-counter items, returns are accepted within 7 days of purchase if the item is unopened and in its original packaging. Verification of purchase is required.
6. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall e-Pharm, its officers, directors, employees, or agents be liable to you for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages whatsoever resulting from any errors, mistakes, or inaccuracies of content, or personal injury or property damage, of any nature whatsoever, resulting from your access to and use of our site.
