The Controlled Drug Register automatically records every movement of a scheduled or controlled medicine — receipts, dispensations, returns, adjustments, and destructions — each with a running balance.
Where the entries come from
You do not write the register by hand. Entries are created for you whenever controlled stock is received in Inventory or dispensed at the point of sale, including the batch, the pharmacist, and any linked prescription.
Viewing the register
- 1Go to Compliance → Controlled Drug Register.
- 2Filter by movement type if you are looking for something specific.
- 3Each row shows the drug, quantity, running balance, batch, pharmacist, and linked prescription.
