Products are the items you sell. e-Pharm includes a shared drug catalog, so you can add common medicines without typing every detail by hand.
Create a product
- 1Go to Inventory → Products & Stock and choose Add.
- 2Scan the pack barcode (or type it and press Enter). A catalog match fills name, generic, brand, NAFDAC number, manufacturer, pack size, and prescription/controlled flags.
- 3You can also look up by NAFDAC number, or search the catalog by name and select a match.
- 4Set the selling price, cost price, and confirm pack size.
- 5Confirm the dispensing flags: Prescription Required and Controlled Substance (Schedule Substance) where relevant.
- 6Set VAT treatment if needed, then save the product.
Prices are never copied from another pharmacy. If the barcode is already in your inventory, you will be offered that product instead of a duplicate. Prescription and controlled flags decide whether an item needs a prescription at checkout and whether its movements are written to the Controlled Drug Register. Detailed schedule class values can also be set via bulk import.
