Products are the items you sell. e-Pharm includes a shared drug catalog seeded from NAFDAC and WHO references, so you can add common medicines without typing every detail by hand.
Create a product
- 1Go to Inventory and choose Add Product.
- 2Search the catalog by name — select a match to auto-fill generic name, manufacturer, and NAFDAC number.
- 3Set the selling price, cost price, and pack size.
- 4Set the dispensing flags: mark Prescription Required and the Schedule Class (OTC, POM, Schedule I, Schedule II) where relevant.
- 5Save the product.
Schedule and prescription flags matter: they decide whether an item needs a prescription at checkout and whether its movements are written to the Controlled Drug Register.
